iPhone 13 specs leaks ahead of launch. Apple in the event held on September introduced several new products which ranges from iPad Air 4th Generation & iPad 8th Generation. They also introduced smartwatches such as Apple Watch Series 6 and Apple Watch SE.
However, as of the date this post was published, the company is yet to make any official announcement regarding the most anticipated iPhone 12 series. They are yet to even announce the official launching of the phone.
iPhone 13 Specs
iPhone 13 Specs has just emerged online. It was leaked by Ross Young of DSCC (Display Supply Chain Consultants) on Twitter. According to him, the phone series will have same specs with soon to be released iPhone 12 series. Meaning that iPhone 13 series will have four models.
He went ahead to say that all the four models of the phone will come with (Y-Octa) panels/OLED panels. Even though all the phones will come with OLED, the OLED supplies will not be from the same company. Samsung will be supplying OLED panels for the Pro Max model and the smaller/Mini model. LGD (LG Display) and BOE will be supplying panels for the rest of the four models of the phone.
- iPhone 13 Mini – 5.42-inch
- iPhone 13 – 6.06-inch
- iPhone 13 Pro – 6.06-inch
- iPhone 13 Pro Max – 6.67-inch
Since its a 2021 phone, they will all comes with high refresh rate and 5G connectivity out of the box but only the Pro models of the phone will have LTPO for variable refresh rate. LTPO feature is already used in the just released Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra. The feature allows the phone refresh rate to rise and decrease depending on what you are doing on your phone. This however helps to reduce battery consumption of the phone.
When it comes to the cameras which are one of the major thing why people buy and use iPhone, the 5.4-inches and 6.1-inches will come with a dual camera setup. We will still see the 1.7µm primary sensor on these devices as seen in iPhone 12 Pro Max.
Nonetheless, the 6.1-inch and 6.6-inch Pro models will feature a triple camera with 1.9µm primary senor with SensorShift and ToF camera.
The last thing Young revealed was that all the iPhone 13 models will come with Face ID which means we will be seeing the same notch as has always seen in other iPhones. I was really hoping that iPhone 13 Pro Max will come with full screen or curve display.
