Samsung Galaxy Note 20 May Come With an Upgraded Exynos 992 SoC
Samsung has been known all over the world as the brand that makes awesome mobile phones. Actually, the company have indeed gotten the interest and trust of their customers.
However, in October 2019, that was the Samsung Tech Day, the introduced the already known flagship chipset Exynos 990 to the world. The Chipset was made by Samsung’s new 7nm LPP EUV (extreme ultra-violet) process. One interesting thing about it was that it features a triple-cluster CPU Core setup consisting of a combination of two custom M5 big cores, two ARM Cortex-76 middle cores, and four ARM Cortex-A55 little cores.
The company therefore made use of the Chipset in their S20 series which was launched earlier this year. We were hoping that it same Chipset is coming with the Samsung Galaxy Note 20 until Sammobile reported that Samsung may unveil Exynos 992 later this year with the upcoming Galaxy Note 20 series .
I doubt this report anyway. I think Samsung will unveil Exynos 990 later this year which they will use for the flagship phones they will make next year. I also think that Samsung Galaxy Note 20 will come with Exynos 990 as in S20 series. Well, as we all know, what I think does not matter. What matters is what the company think.
Be that as it may, the report equally states that the Exynos 992 may come with the Korean version of the Galaxy Note 20 series. However way it comes, Exynos 992 remains the upgraded version of the Exynos 990 chipset used by Samsung in their S20 series.
